The vast majority of the approximately 2,550 plant species which have naturalised in Australia (i.e formed at least one self-sustaining population) have not been placed on any kind of "action" or priority list. This page provides an index to those species. Note that the list of naturalised plant speices used here is derived from an automated interrogation of the APNI database via the ALA webservices and differs in taxonomy, and therefore number of taxa, compared to Randall ( ) who published a list of 2,800 taxa. Both my list and Randall's count ALL naturalised species and so include species endemic to a region of Australia (e.g. Pittosporum undulatum) but naturalised elsewhere on the continent.
NOTE: I use the resources of the Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) and the associated Australian Plant Census (APC) as my taxonomic reference. I have done my best to provide cross-references from synomyms that may have been used in publications such as Randall (2007), but it may not be perfect. If the species you are looking for is not shown here but is listed elsewhere (for example, by Randall ( )) then use the APNI search facility to find out what it is really called.
