The Australian Weeds Committee is a peak co-ordinating and advisory group for weed species in Australia. They regularly update a consolidated list of all weed taxa which have been listed as "noxius plants" under weed management legislation in each of the states and territories that make up the Australian federation.
NOTE: I use the resources of the Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) and the associated Australian Plant Census (APC) as my taxonomic reference. I have done my best to provide cross-references from the AWC list taxonomic name to the one used for modelling within the index table below, but it may not be perfect. If the species you are looking for is not shown here but is found on the AWC list (latest is available here) then use the APNI search facility to find out what it is really called. The names on the AWC list come from legislative lists and the taxonomy often is not maintained and therefore is out of date. In addition, some state floras use names that have been synonomised by the APNI/APC staff.
